A seven-stage film about the work and life of visual artist Brigitte Smith.
Brigitte lives in a house, which is also a studio, within a protected and protective garden. She has cultivated it since the 1970s, perhaps as a response to the extremely hostile world in which she was born: Germany, 1938. How does a child grow up in a country destroyed by war?
It was in the magical world of nature that she found refuge: cycles of renewal, fertility and hope. A feminine order. This awakening awareness of
power accompanied her during her artistic studies in Munich and, later on,
during the Black Panther social movement in the USA, where she developed the technique of reflective light in her images and the universe of symbolism.
Brigitte later went to India in search of self-knowledge through spirituality. Her greatest quest is for an ideal of peace.
