MADAME FILMES is an independent production company based in Lisbon, founded in 2020 by Cláudia Rita Oliveira. The production company arose from the desire to give a personal and authorial voice to cinema of a social nature, with the aim of favouring content about cis and trans women, non-binary people and other individuals commonly on the margins of dominant social narratives. MADAME aims to favour a horizontal production model.
